Why use a travel advisor?

Our team is on the move as much as possible, experiencing different destinations and strengthening our relationships with hotels and partners worldwide. Our goal is to get to know you as well as possible and use what we know about you to curate customized trips that suit your interests and style. We aim to build long-term relationships with each client in order to make travel planning stress-free and each trip a customized success — including industry perks like complimentary breakfast, upgrades, resorts / cruise line credits, and VIP status.

Can I use credit card points/miles?

We are able to keep our direct fees to clients low as we are paid a commission on hotel and cruise bookings. While we are more than happy for you to utilize points / miles for flights (which is often the best value for your points anyway!), we do ask that when committing to our services you allow us to make and manage your hotel bookings to ensure we are compensated for our time.

We have already booked our hotels. Are you able to help with activity-only trips?

We offer a comprehensive service that allows us to provide a well-rounded travel experience. When we are only booking activities, it can cause inconsistencies in the quality of your itinerary. At Registry Travel, we stand behind a high level of service and this only comes from when we are able to create your custom trip from start to finish. For this reason, we are not able to work on activity-only trip requests but hope to have the opportunity to work with you on a full itinerary in the future!

Why don’t we work with AirBnB/VRBO?

AirBnBs are unvetted properties, and as such, we cannot stand behind the quality of the experience you will have. AirBnb policies also protect owners over travelers, which can lead to cancelled bookings… and lots of panic! We are happy to assist with villa and apartment sourcing from vetted partner companies when needed.

Can you offer component pricing?

In some cases, we are able to provide component pricing. Generally this starts for budgets of $5,000 USD per person or higher. However, many of our preferred on-the-ground partners do not offer itemized costing (even to us), in which case we are unable to offer regardless of budget. If itemization is required, please discuss this with your advisor before starting the planning process.

Changes midway through planning can result in delays in securing optimal accommodations and guides, potentially leading to mismatches with our luxury partners.
